Separation of Proteins in Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(cas 151-21-3) Solution by Reversed Phase Chromatography

The retention behavior and separation of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and lysozyme (Lys) dissolved in sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS, cas 151-21-3) solution on reversed phase chromatography (RPC) were discussed.

The results showed that the separation of protein on the reversed-phase chromatography was obviously affected by the SDS concentration in the sample solution and the physical and chemical properties of the protein. However, the separation of the protein in the protein solution could be achieved by changing the mobile phase This method provides a new approach for the separation and purification of SDS(cas 151-21-3) - treated proteins, which has great application value.
