Electrochemical Studies on Protein Film Induced by Guanidine Hydrochloride(cas 50-01-1) in Decomposing Hemoglobin

The effects of chloride ion (Cl-) and guanidine cation (Gdn +) on the folding of hemoglobin (Hb) induced by guanidine hydrochloride(cas 50-01-1)(GdnCl) were studied by electrochemical detection of protein membrane. The peak current (Ip), the potential (Eo ') and the peak separation (ΔE) of Hb in the presence of GdnCl, Gdn + and Cl- were investigated in the presence of Dbodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDAB) ) And other electrochemical parameters.

The results show that the denaturation efficiency of guanidine hydrochloride(cas 50-01-1) is affected by Gdn + and Cl-synergistic effect, and the influence of each component is related to its concentration. This method not only provides a means to study the Hb conformational change, but also provides a new idea for artificial control of Hb conformation.
