Determination of SOD Activity Based on Palladium (Ⅱ) -8-Hydroxyquinoline-5-Sulfonic Acid-Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(151-21-3) Complex System Polarographic Method

In the Na2CO3-NaHCO3(pH8.9) buffer solution, the peak current of sodium dodecyl sulfate(151-21-3) on the complexes of palladium (Ⅱ) and 8-hydroxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid (8-OXSA) and the mechanism of the electrode reaction is caused by the O-2 catalytic oxidation intermediate of the surface of the electrode.

As the superoxide dismutase(SOD) catalyzes the disproportionation of O-2, the palladium-8-OXSA-sodium dodecyl sulfate(151-21-3) system to reduce the peak current can be measured by measuring the peak current changes can be indirectly quantify the activity of SOD, according to the establishment of the method of determination of SOD activity, and to study several common flavonoids to remove O-2 role.
