Quantitative Study on Complex System of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(cas 151-21-3) and OP-10

The methods for the determination of two kinds of surfactants in Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(cas 151-21-3) and nonionic surfactants (OP-10) were studied and determined by phase titration and spectrophotometry. The effects of the mutual interference of the two surfactants on the quantification of the two surfactants were investigated. The quantitative conditions, the amount of the indicator, the inorganic salt (Na2SO4, KCl). The results showed that the quantitative effect of OP-10 on SDS was very small, but the quantitative effect of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(SDS) on OP-10 was significant. When the Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(cas 151-21-3) content reached 0.8 ~ 1.0g / L, The optimal concentration of OP-10 in the complex system is proportional to the absorbance of the OP-10, which is simple, rapid, accurate and reliable, and can be used to determine the complex system of the two surfactants.
