Graft polymerization of sodium p-styrenesulfonate(2695-37-6) on the surface of polyester fabric

The graft polymerization of sodium p-styrenesulfonate(2695-37-6) on the surface of polyester fabric was studied by UV irradiation, with benzophenone (BP) as the photoinitiator. The effects of reaction conditions such as swelling agent concentration, swelling time and ultraviolet irradiation time on the grafting effect were discussed. The grafting results were characterized by IR, hemagglutination and platelet adhesion experiments. It was found that the sulfonic acid groups were grafted on the surface of the polyester fabric, and the water absorption and dyeing properties were improved to a great extent. Blood performance indicators APTT also improved.
