MES(4432-31-9) buffer system

1-ethyl- (3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide salt as initiator, N-hydroxysuccinimide as coupling agent and imidazole-1-acetic acid as raw material, imidazole-1-acetic acid was grafted into chitosan in a MES(4432-31-9) buffer system and lyophilized to give imidazole-1-acetic acid glycans with pH responsiveness (FT - IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), elemental analysis (EA) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) were used to characterize the product.

The results showed that imidazole - 1-acetic acid was successfully grafted onto the amino group of chitosan. When the molecular weight of chitosan was the same, the degree of substitution increased with the increase of molar ratio of imidazole-1-acetic acid / chitosan, and the degree of substitution fell % ~ 7.76%, and the size of IACS scaffolds is between 50 ~ 150μm, showing a three-dimensional structure. When the pH value of imidazole-1-acetic acid chitosan solution increases from 6.5 to 6.5, the potential decreased from +64.2 mV to +24.2 mV. In summary, imidazole-1-acetic acid chitosan scaffolds are expected to provide a good template for biomineralization and bone tissue growth.
